Former Thai foreign minister Thanat Khoman dies at age 101

Hailed as a ‘visionary’ and ‘convinced nationalist, Thanat, who died of natural causes on Thursday is credited as a major driver in the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations in 1967
