Singapore jails woman who left Covid quarantine to claim lottery winnings, go window-shopping

  • A 60-year-old Singaporean woman was sentenced to nine weeks of jail for violating her Covid-19 quarantine last year over ‘frivolous purposes’
  • She was also convicted in 2005 for theft, for which she served 10 weeks in jail
