A magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck the southern Philippines on Friday, killing a married couple as people fled buildings and part of a shopping centre ceiling collapsed.
Dozens were injured and buildings damaged, authorities said.
No tsunami threat was issued after the quake struck off Sarangani province on the southern island of Mindanao at a depth of 78km (48 miles) at 4.14pm, the US Geological Service said.
The Philippine seismology agency PHIVOLCS and the Pacific Tsunamic Warning Centre also said a tsunami was not expected.
Mindanao is the second largest and most populous island in the country, with around 26 million people.
A man and his wife were found crushed to death beneath a concrete wall outside the factory they worked in near the city of General Santos, police said.
