Video: Moment man saves girlfriend from fifth-floor balcony fall

This is the dramatic moment a man saved his girlfriend from probable death after she fell from her fifth-floor apartment.

Desperately clinging onto her legs, the man is almost dragged out of the window himself as he struggles to hold on during the incident in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, China.

According to state media, a witness reported that the girl had slipped while sitting on the window of the balcony with her feet on a clothes rack.

The couple was eventually pulled to safety by fellow neighbours and firefighters.
