Regulators pulled the plug on a Jiangsu television station this week after amateur video of a game show yet to air was leaked online, showing two guests and their mother yelling and swearing at the audience. The video, apparently shot by an audience member at the taping of an episode of Jiangsu Educational Television's Sunday night game show Bang, Bang, Bang , showed two guests, car show model Gan Lulu and her younger sister Gan Maomao, behaving badly, along with their mother, Lei Bingxia. In a notice published on its website on Wednesday night, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television ordered the show cancelled. The next day it issued another notice suspending the channel for "violating national broadcasting regulations … and amplifying ugliness, undermining media ethics and creating negative social impact". A spokesman for Jiangsu's education department said the editors of the show had been fired. Gan Lulu - known for her risqué outfits - has been subject of intense online debate since Valentine's Day last year, when Lei posted a video of her elder daughter naked in a bathroom. Lei said she was anxious to find a boyfriend for her daughter.
