A 70-year-old man living on the outskirts of Shunyi district said that three gold bars he bought from a bank for 210,000 yuan (HK$259,000) three years ago have started to rust, the Beijing Evening News reports. The man accused the bank of putting impurities into the bars to cheat buyers. He had planned on giving the gold to his three daughters.
