Chinese tycoon’s son blasted for ‘vulgar obsessions’ with money, sex and violence
Only son of Wanda tycoon said top criteria for choosing a girlfriend was that she had to be 'buxom'

State media has criticised the son of China’s third-richest man – saying he is spreading the undesirable obsessions with money, sex and violence after telling reporters on Valentine’s Day his top criteria for choosing a girlfriend was that she had to be “buxom”.
Wang Sicong, 26, the outspoken only son of mainland real estate tycoon Wang Jianlin, made the comment during a charity event at a branch of his family’s theatre chain.
The son, who is a board member of his father's Wanda Group, and chairman of Prometheus Capital, a private equity investment firm, helped raised more than 500,000 yuan (about HK$690,000) after auctioning the chance to watch a film with him on Valentine’s Day.
The next morning, the official weibo account of the news agency, Xinhua, carried a signed commentary accusing Wang of “breaching the bottom line of morals”.
It said: “There are certain celebrities that recklessly disseminate vulgar information … from the worship of money to sex and violence.
Not only did they fail to bear responsibility for promoting mainstream values, but also gave speeches to promote their own “extrovert personalities”.
