A man from eastern China claims to have broken a world record for the number of bees covering his entire body.
Gao Bingguo coated himself with honey and was then covered in one million of the insects, the news website China.com.cn reported.
Gao, 55, who is a beekeeper from Tai’an in Shandong province, was stung about 2,000 times during the record attempt on Monday, according to the Qilu Evening News.

He carried out a previous record attempt last year, covering himself with 326,000 bees.
Gao said he practised over 60 times before making his latest record bid.
His entire body was covered with bees, except his mouth and nose, during the stunt.

China is no stranger to weird record attempts involving the insects.
Ruan Liangming, another beekeeper, broke a record last year for the amount of time he was covered by the insects.
He was coated in bees during the record bid in eastern Jiangxi province for 53 minutes and 34 seconds.
