A day of matchmaking where your blind date gets to know the real you – and your chest size

A weekend matchmaking event in an eastern Chinese city where women were encouraged not to wear makeup attracted more than 30,000 singles, the news site GMW.cn reported.

Ladies turning up for the event on Saturday at a water park in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, were directed to a 20-metre-long table with washbasins and face wash to remove their makeup before meeting their potential dates.

The organiser claimed doing away with makeup was a way to avoid judging a person by appearance. Even so, one of the main "games" involved measuring ladies’ chest circumference.

Other events involved guys performing squats holding a girl in their arms, water gun squirting and handing out roses, according to the news.
