A village official has been expelled from the Communist Party after raunchy videos clips emerged online showing him removing a woman’s clothes at a social gathering. The decision was announced by the publicity office of Rugao City, northwest of Shanghai, and cited by the online news portal of People’s Daily on Monday. Three clips lasting a total of about four minutes appeared on social media showing a man sitting by a dining table holding a woman in his arms. He was later was identified as Chen Jianming, deputy party secretary of Changxi village in Wuyao township. Chen was found to have severely violated party discipline while attending a private gathering for his nephew. In addition to being stripped of his party membership, Chen was also sacked from his position as deputy party secretary and village head of Changxi. The report said no other party members attended the gathering. He was suspended on Sunday after the widely circulated clips showed Chen fondling a woman and lifting her clothes to bare her breasts, stomach and hips.
