Chinese woman parks her car at hotel – inside the lobby

A Chinese woman reversing her car into a hotel parking space hit the accelerator so hard that the vehicle crashed through a window 50cm off the ground and came to rest inside the lobby, mainland media reports.

The unnamed woman had initially parked her vehicle beside the gate of the hotel in Wuhan, in Hubei province, Hubei-based Chutian Golden News reported.

However, hotel staff then asked to move it to the parking area with other vehicles.

The newspaper said she had made several unsuccessful attempts to manoeuvre the vehicle into the parking space when she suddenly hit the accelerator too hard and it sent the car crashing through the window and inside the lobby.

No one was injured in the accident, the newspaper said.
