Chinese man 'stabbed five women who looked like ex-girlfriend in buttocks after she stole from him'

A man has been arrested in eastern China for allegedly stabbing five women who looked like his ex-girlfriend in the buttocks after his former partner stole from him, according to a newspaper report.
The man stabbed the first woman after he mistook her for his girlfriend, but in his anger he continued his attacks on others who looked like his former partner, the Dazhong Daily reported.
The man confessed to police in Yantai in Shandong province that his crimes were triggered by his ex-girlfriend stealing his bank cards and identity card, the report said.
He did not know his girlfriend’s address so wandered in the area trying to find her, before attacking the wrong woman.
The attacks then continued, the report said.
