Chinese man haunted by ‘woman stalker’ who knows his every move

A Chinese man has been stalked online for the past six years by an internet user who can access to his mobile phone, no matter how many times he changes the handset, his phone number or online accounts and IDs, the Chongqing Economic Times reports.

The man said he added the person – whom he assumes is a woman although they have never met in person – on an instant messaging platform in 2008. But she started harassing him after the man refused to start a romantic relationship.

The man said the woman, however, started adding herself back to be friends on the instant messaging app even when he changed his user ID.

She even had access to his chat logs with others and sent his chat history to his wife, which almost ruined his marriage. The woman could even log in to instant messaging tools of his wife.

He changed his mobile number but the woman obtained the new one the next day. She even proposed meeting in person several times but never showed up. They remain QQ friends.

Local police told the Times that the man could seek help from police to find how she was able to use his personal data to stalk him.
