Fandom is catching, mockingjays: Hunger Games tourist site to open in China

Hunger Games fans in China may get to find out for themselves if the odds are ever in their favour.
Lions Gate Entertainment has confirmed that the blockbuster movie franchise has been licensed to develop an indoor entertainment centre in Hengqin in Zhuhai in southern China as well as a theme park in Atlanta in the United States.
The New York Times, which earlier reported the news, said the Atlanta park was targeted to open by 2019 while the Chinese centre aims to open by late 2018.
Fans are already getting to interact with the story featuring heroine Katniss Everdeen through attractions such as the travelling display “The Hunger Games: The Exhibition,” which is now on at Discovery Times Square in New York.
