Bling-bling, it's for you: Chinese receptionist scores 'flower' bouquet made of 100-yuan notes from her boss
Executive in Hubei province eschews roses and violets for more direct approach to woo secretary

A company boss in central China put the old refrain that money can’t buy love to the test by sending his girlfriend a bouquet of 99 flowers – each made from a carefully folded 100 yuan note, local media reported.
The top executive was described by the Chutian Metropolis Daily as a member of mainland China’s nouveau riche who had a burning crush on a receptionist at his company in Ezhou city in eastern Hubei province.
He paid the florist to carefully wrap each 100 yuan note – worth about HK$122 or US$16 – into the shape of a flower and arrange them in sequential order of their serial numbers.
The shop owner reportedly spent several hours creating the bouquet, which was delivered on Saturday.
There was no word on the woman’s reaction.
In September, a man in his 20s proposed to his girlfriend in front of her university classmates by forming a big heart with 11 luxury cars in southern Guangdong province, according to Chinanews.com.
