Chinese university official, 61, blasts students for not doing enough exercise before hopping onto chair to show off his gymnastics skills

A 61-year-old university official has created a stir on social media in China after he chided students and staff for not doing enough exercise and then performed a tough gymnastics exercise in front of a college meeting.
Xiamen University principal Zhu Chongshi was giving a speech at a university meeting about sport on Sunday, the news website Thepaper.cn reported.
Zhu said students and staff lacked exercise as it had not become part of their daily routines, according to the article.
He then balanced on a chair with his arms, with his back straight and legs forming a 90-degree angle.
The audience in the hall clapped and chanted to count the seconds Zhu held the position, 25 in all.
