Teachers strip Chinese boy, aged six, after he refuses to sleep during nap time
Security camera footage shows the instructors pulling off the pupil’s shirt and pants

A six-year-old boy was stripped of his clothes by schoolteachers in southeast China after he refused to sleep during a noon break, mainland media reports.
The incident took place at a kindergarten in Quanzhou city in Fujian province last Thursday and was reported by a local newspaper.
The boy, identified only as Xiaoheng, was punished by two teachers for disturbing his classmates during nap time, according to the Quanzhou Evening News, which obtained CCTV footage of the incident.

They grabbed him and pulled off his shirt and pants, leaving him only in his underwear, then ordered him to stay in the hallway despite the chilly weather, it said. A third teacher witnessed the incident but didn’t intervene.
Xiaoheng’s mother learned what happened from a parent of another pupil in the class, and reported the matter to the school’s principal.
