Six men face possible rape charges in southeast China after they allegedly had sex with a 15-year-old girl, who is now eight months pregnant, local media reports.
The girl said she had sex with them after they bought her something to eat, while some gave her 20 to 30 yuan (US$5 or HK$36), according to the Straight News.
The incident occurred in Qingkou village, near Fuzhou city in Fujian province. A criminal investigation had been launched, the local police were quoted as saying.
The girl’s grandmother discovered what was happening and when she confronted the men, they admitted having sex with the teen, the News reported.
Three of the men worked as motorcycle taxi drivers, another drove a truck, the fifth sold pesticides, while the sixth was unemployed, according to the grandmother, who called them “bastards”.
They could be charged with rape if the girl was 14 at the time the sex began.
