Girl, aged 3, found abandoned in train station with note from mum: please look after my daughter

A mother reportedly abandoned her young daughter at a train station in central China but returned a week later to look for her, a news portal reports.
The woman went to the station in Kaifeng city in Henan province with her daughter, aged three,
on January 16, according to Sina.com.cn. She left the girl at a station plaza along with two bags of luggage.
Local police officers found the girl crying and after searching the luggage discovered a note that said the mother had gone abroad to study. It asked that whoever found the girl care for her.
She was sent to a children’s welfare facility.
Authorities reviewed the security camera footage from the station and discovered the woman had been watching the girl from a distance but left after police officers arrived, the report said.
