‘Chicken feet lady’ returns for seconds on the Shanghai subway
Woman who gained notoriety for spitting bones on train floor has been filmed again riding the rails with a bowl of steaming noodles
A woman in Shanghai dubbed the “chicken feet lady” after she was filmed eating the popular snack and spitting out the bones on the floor of a busy subway carriage has been seen eating a bowl of spicy noodles on the train.
An internet user spotted the woman woofing down the meal on line 12 of the Shanghai Metro on Monday afternoon and posted the photos online, which then appeared yesterday morning on the Shanghai Morning Post’s Weibo account.

The photos drew mixed comments on social media, with some taking an understanding attitude while others were clearly fed up with the woman’s antics.
“Sometimes there really is no other way - we are rushing to places everyday,” said a sympathiser.
“That’s enough!” barked another. “Is she the only one on the train who hasn’t had lunch? She just wants to be famous.”
“Will you eat spicy food on the metro when you are in a hurry? Rules should be followed,” yet another comment said.
