School bullies in China put classmate, 17, in hospital after he refused to give them 5 yuan
Doctors said he had injuries over his entire body, including suspected liver damage

A teenager in northern China is in hospital with severe injuries after being bashed by three schoolmates for refusing to give them 5 yuan (HK$6), local media reports.
The 17-year-old, identified only as Xiaoxing, was punched, kicked and beaten with other objects over his entire body in the assault at Ningyang Vocational High School on Friday, according to Shandong Broadcast Television.
“They were punching my head, kicking me in the back and hitting me with some other objects,” Xiaoxing said from his hospital bed.
The three assailants were schoolmates who bailed him up at school a week ago, demanding he give them 5 yuan.

“They were checking my pockets looking for money. But I refused to give them any,” Xiaoxing said.
After the unpleasant encounter, three other friends approached the three bullies to negotiate a settlement on Xiaoxing’s behalf rather than report the matter to their teacher.
