Raging storms in southwest China provide a chance for male students to display their chivalrous side
As gales and lashing rain blow shattered windows into university classrooms, male students leap – perhaps too eagerly – to shield the women

Devastating storms have smashed windows in many university classrooms in southwest China, creating chaos but also opportunities for young men to appear chivalrous towards the women in the class, local media reports.
At the height of rainy season in Kunming, capital of Yunnan province, downpours and gales sweeping across the region have not only shattered window panes but in some cases blown entire window frames into packed classrooms, the local Metropolis Times reports.

Photos taken by students in an apparently packed classroom show three-metre-high window panes, with the glass shattered and aluminium frames buckled, forcing students closest to the windows to jump out of the way.
