Chinese woman poses as 10-yuan-a-throw ‘human dartboard’ to fund sister’s life-saving leukaemia treatment
Ji Jiali’s sister, Jiayan, needs a bone-marrow transplant costing 350,000 yuan

A Chinese woman desperately tried to raise money to fund her sister’s life-saving leukaemia treatment by posing as a human dartboard in the street – offering people the chance to throw darts at her for 10 yuan (HK$12) a time, mainland media reports.
Pictures widely circulated on social media of the 21-year-old, identified as Ji Jiali, from Hangzhou, in Zhejiang province, show her next to a sign saying, “Human dartboard – 10 yuan per throw”, the Hangzhou Daily reported on Monday. Her sister needs treatment costing 350,000 yuan.

However, city police later discovered that she was the younger sister of leukaemia sufferer Ji Jiayan, who made national headlines after running away from home when her family was unable to pay the 350,000 yuan cost of a life-saving bone-marrow transplant when a suitable donor was found.
Police said Jiali had tried to raise the money without the knowledge of her sister, who was now a patient at a hospital in Kunming, in Yunnan province, the report said.
