Middle-aged Chinese relive childhood with ‘student’s day out’ in a theme park

Dozens of middle-aged men and women put on their school uniforms and had a ‘students’ day out’ at a theme park in central China to celebrate the upcoming Children’s Day, mainland media reports.

The group, whose average age was 60, visited a theme park in Changsha, the provincial capital of Hunan province, on Saturday, China News Agency reported.

Donned in red and white school uniforms and teamed up with backpacks printed with popular cartoon characters, the group rode merry-go-round and roller coaster for the first time in their lives. They also fed goldfish, and visited enclosures of various animals such as tigers and monkeys.
