A man narrowly escaped serious injury after another passenger pushed him off a railway platform in central China into the path of an oncoming train, a news website reported.
The victim was shoved by another man who was angered by him spitting on the ground several times, Hn.rednet.cn reported.
Video footage showed the man get shoved off the platform at Xiangtan in Hunan province as a train approached on Sunday afternoon.

Nearby passengers were shocked, fearing the man would get hit by the train, the report said.

He managed to jump off the rails in time and made a narrow escape.
