A high school teacher in northern China was stripped naked and publicly shamed after he was accused of having an illicit affair with a female pupil.
Internet users claiming to be the man’s former pupils posted photos and an account of the incident online on Tuesday, the Beijing Morning Post reported.

In the pictures taken at the scene, the unnamed teacher was shown naked and sporting bruises around his shoulders and legs.

One internet user said the man, a senior teacher from Weixian No 1 High School in Hebei province’s Wei county, was caught on Sunday having “improper relations” with one of his female pupils.

He was beaten and stripped naked by the pupil’s family the following day, the report said, adding that he was taken to hospital after the incident.
Some internet users who claimed they had been taught by the man said he often touched his female pupils inappropriately and asked them into his office.

Other internet users said the teacher had in fact been framed by pupils who had been expelled from school this year.
The county’s Education Bureau staff member told the newspaper that police were investigating the case.
