Guangzhou schoolchildren saved from burning bus by passers-by
Border inspection officers happen upon roadside blaze and rescue 46 kids

Several dozen schoolchildren in Guangzhou had a lucky escape from a burning school bus when three border-inspection officers happened to pass by and rescue them, the Guangzhou Daily reported.
The officers were driving on a highway when they saw the parked school bus with flames coming out of its underside and the driver trying to put out the blaze.
One officer helped put out the fire, one guided passing traffic and the other helped a school teacher and 46 crying children evacuate from the burning bus.
The blaze was not put out and by the time firefighters arrived, the whole bus was engulfed in flames. It eventually burned down to its frame.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
