‘My dream is to find a boyfriend’ says Chinese cerebral palsy sufferer, 21, who has spent life stuck inside home

A house-bound 21-year-old Chinese woman with cerebral palsy has touched the hearts of local people after revealing her dream of finding a boyfriend, mainland media reports
Liang Juan, who was diagnosed with the condition after her birth in a village in Guizhou, has spent her whole life at the family home, the newspaper Guizhou City News reported.
Her cerebral palsy – usually caused by a brain injury before or during birth, which causes the loss of movement in the arms and legs – means she is unable to go outside unless she is carried by her parents.
Although she has spent years stuck at home – apparently unable to go to school because of her condition –she has stayed cheerful watching endless hours of television, and has hopes and dreams of finding love, just like everyone else.
