A motorist in southern China has been fined for waving with his hands off the wheel and pulling a face as he drove past a traffic surveillance camera, according to a news report. A camera shot showed the driver gesturing with two hands while pulling a face as if he was riding a roller coaster, the news outlet Cover said. The motorist, who was not named, was fined 100 yuan (HK$112) by the authorities in Guangzhou and two points were docked from his licence for unsafe driving, according to the article. A police officer who spotted the offence was quoted as saying: “This is the most audacious and pompous activity that I’ve seen.
