Chinese man confesses to strangling wife and hiding body in fridge for over three months
Man from Shanghai killed partner after marital row, newspaper reports

A man from Shanghai has confessed to murdering his wife and storing her body in a fridge at their home for over three months, a newspaper reported.
The man, 29, whose full name was not given, strangled his wife on October 18 last year after the couple quarrelled, the Shanghai-based Xinmin Evening News reported. The argument was sparked over a “ trivial matter”, the article said, without elaborating.
The husband put his wife’s body in a fridge on the balcony. He kept the secret from his parents who visited his home many times after the murder, not realising their daughter-in-law was dead.
The man finally confessed to his parents about killing his wife on February 1, the article said.
