Chinese man fined for driving with foot hanging out window, on wing mirror

A motorist has been fined in Beijing for driving with one leg stuck out the window and his foot resting by the wing mirror, a news website reported.
Police were alerted after several internet users posted pictures of the man driving on a hot summer’s day in the capital, Fawan.com reported.

The pictures show the man in shorts planting a foot next the left side mirror of his black Toyota.
Police traced him through his licence plate, which was visible in the pictures.
The man was fined 200 yuan (US$29) and had two points taken off his licence.
A driver’s licence is suspended if 12 points are docked in a year.
