When Lunchbox Theatrical Productions' chief executive James Cundall saw Louis Pearl's Amazing Bubble Show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year, he was mesmerised by the things he could do with something as simple as washing-up liquid.
Cundall approached the "Amazing Bubble Man" after the show and offered to take him on a world tour. From September 12 to 16, Pearl will be performing his magic on stage at the Academy for Performing Arts.
Pearl, a San Francisco native, has taken childhood fun to another level. He's been in the trade for almost 30 years and honed his skills with specially designed equipment for stunts such as blowing square bubbles, bubbles within bubbles and bubble juggling.
He has performed in front of more than a million people and is known to bring out the inner child in everyone who sees his shows.
