Smooth operators star in ad for laser hair removal specialists Dermes

Actresses Fiona Sit Hoi-kei, Annie Liu Xin-you and Jennifer Tse Ting-ting have never starred in a film together, but the trio got together to promote a beauty treatment that's in vogue this summer.

Dermes, which operates laser hair removal salons, lined the girls up to co-star in its latest campaign and television commercial, with a set designed to look like a walk-in wardrobe. Behind-the-scenes photos have just been released.

The two-day shoot was directed by television commercial veteran David Poon and award-winning photographer Cheung Man-wah.

Liu has been a campaign girl for Dermes for the past six years, and joked that she was now almost an expert at laser hair removal.

"Only a confident woman can be charming on the inside and outside," she said. "To do that, you have to be prepared and look perfect from every angle."

Sit said she liked permanent laser treatment because it saved her a lot of grooming time.
