Cafe-bar C'est la B is venturing out from its hip Tai Hang location and opening in Admiralty's Pacific Place mall.
Its lifestyle-savvy founder Bonnie Gokson - whose other businesses include Central's penthouse restaurant Sevva and Sheung Wan's chic Ms B's Cakery - looked radiant at the grand opening event last Friday.
On C'est La B's menu are desserts, cakes and savoury dishes such as pot pies, salads and pastas. It also offers a range of gluten-free desserts.
The stylish afternoon tea expert said she enjoyed being surrounded by good friends who love to eat and did not care about the calories.
She said: "I have too many friends who are on constant diets and this seems to take all the fun out of [eating]."
Marie-Antoinette would be her ideal guest if she could invite anyone in history to grace her tea parties, Gokson said.
