Glittering guestlist for launch of La Mer's new cream

French beauty brand La Mer hosted a soiree at the ballroom of the Four Seasons hotel on Friday night to launch its new moisturising cream. Guests at the party, including Daisy Ho Chiu-fung, Monica Chen and Ming Ho, dressed to the nines, although not all followed the "white" dress code.

The savoured a four-course caviar dinner and were entertained with performances by Canto-pop crooner George Lam Chi-cheung and Mando-pop singer Kit Chan. There was also a contemporary dance performance, choreographed to mimic the movement of sea kelp - a key ingredient of the La Mer cream.

Towards the end of the evening, guests got a chance to try out the cream as staff applied a dab of the product onto guests' hands. A photo corner was set up for guests to have their pictures taken.

The gateway leading to the grand ballroom was decorated like an underwater tunnel covered with faux sea kelp.
