"There are two things every French woman aspires to have in their life, one is a Hermès bag and the other one is a portrait taken by Studio Harcourt," said Ariane Zagury.

The founder of Parisian chic boutique Rue Madame has brought the first Sandro boutique to Hong Kong in the IFC Mall, as well as a temporary Studio Harcourt photo booth.

The Sandro shop opened last Monday and Zagury hosted an event on Thursday for fashion journalists to have a closer look at the new autumn-winter collection, as well as the photo booth flown in from France.

For HK$100 or any purchase, you can get your portrait taken at the photo booth. The studio behind it is famous for its black and white portraits of movie stars and celebrities, including Fan Bingbing, Karl Lagerfeld and Michelle Yeoh.

"I've been reading about how people queued up for the photo booth when it made its debut at the Cannes Film Festival last year and thought it would be great to bring it to Hong Kong," said Zagury.

After approaching Studio Harcourt, she learned it was in Shanghai for an event and would be making a stop in Hong Kong for transit before being shipped back to France.
