“All Together” — Five aging friends hire a graduate student as a live-in caretaker and rediscover the joys and pitfalls of communal living. With Claude Rich, Jane Fonda and Geraldine Chaplin. Written and directed by Stephane Robelin. In French and German, with English subtitles. (1:36) NR.

“Bad 25” — A documentary chronicling the making of Michael Jackson’s landmark album “Bad” and his first world tour as a solo artist. Directed by Spike Lee. (2:11) NR.

“The Bay” — In a small seaside town in Maryland, a reporter emerges with footage revealing the cover-up of a devastating parasitic outbreak. With Will Rogers, Steven Kunken, Kether Donohue and Frank Deal. Written by Michael Wallach. Directed by Barry Levinson. (1:25) R.

“Bigfoot: The Lost Coast Tapes” — Complications ensue when a disgraced TV journalist leads a film crew to Northern California to debunk a man’s claim that he possesses the body of a dead sasquatch. With Drew Rausch, Rich McDonald and Ashley Wood. Written by Brian Kelsey, Bryan O’Cain. Directed by Corey Grant. (1:29) NR.

“The Black Tulip” — After the Taliban is routed from Afghanistan in early 2001, a Kabul family opens a restaurant with an open microphone but struggles against opposition from lingering factions of the old guard. “Brooklyn Castle” — This documentary tells the story of an inner-city public school in Brooklyn struggling with budget cuts while grooming some of the country’s most promising young chess players. Directed by Katie Dellamaggiore. (1:41) NR.
