Samathur Li Kin-kan's ex-wife Florence Tsang loses bid for court delay

A solicitor who won a HK$1.2 billion divorce settlement has failed to obtain a court delay over her claim for damages from her ex-husband and his father. Florence Tsang Chiu-wing won the massive award in December last year from Samathur Li Kin-kan, son of Samuel Lee Tak-yee, the billionaire tycoon and boss of Prudential Enterprise, who are appealing against that ruling. Mr Justice Jeremy Poon Shiu-chor of the Court of First Instance rejected her application after hearing an objection from lawyers for the father and son.
