Two dead in Yuen Long car crash

Two people were killed after a private car collided with a truck in the Yuen Long area early Saturday morning, reported local media.

The fatal accident happened around 2 am when a private car lost control and collided with the tail section of a fish truck on San Tin Highway, said media reports.

The car caught fire after the collision. The remains of two male victims, presumably of the driver and a passenger, were later found in the burned wreckage.

The truck rolled over after the collision but the driver survived the crash.

The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
