An international school in Aberdeen has appealed to the public for help in the search for a missing pupil.

According to the police, Lau left a note at home stating that she was unhappy before going missing. The school said it was working closely with the girl's family and local police to find the 16-year-old.
"Our top priority is the safe return of this student," said a school spokeswoman.
More than 50 officers spent yesterday searching the hillsides near the school, focusing on a site where they had detected a signal from the girl's mobile telephone.
Officers from the missing persons unit also visited the school and talked to her classmates and some of the teachers in an effort to find out more details about her.
