Woman stabbed to death for 'adultery', court told
Murder accused took a knife to restaurant where his wife worked and attacked her after she insisted on a divorce, court told

A man stabbed his wife more than 10 times in the Chai Wan restaurant where she worked because he believed she was having an affair, a court heard yesterday.
Chan Tam-fu, 58, confronted his wife at work on April 10 last year and said: "You had boyfriends. You seduced men. You want to die. I now kill you!" the Court of First Instance was told.
Chan denies one count of murder.
Prosecutor John Dunn said: "These stab wounds cut into her heart and her liver and other essential organs, causing fatal injuries. I suggest there is no doubt [about Chan's] intent to kill his wife."
The court heard that Chan suspected his wife Lee Lai-wa, 49, of having an affair based on a card sent to her by another man.
Chan had previously received a police warning to keep the peace, weeks after his wife claimed he hit her, court heard.
