Two Hong Kong exhibition facilities were voted the best in Asia by a regional magazine for the business events industry.

The Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai was voted Asia's best for the 12th time. It was followed by the AsiaWorld-Expo at the airport and the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The awards were given by CEI Asia, a magazine under the London-based Haymarket Media Group, which is dedicated to the meetings, incentive events, conventions and exhibitions industry.

The annual survey started in 2001. Convention facilities are judged by a panel of senior magazine readers and editors. The Wan Chai venue, opened in 1988, has been voted the best every year since the survey started.

The magazine also voted Hong Kong the best city for business events, followed by Singapore and Bangkok.
