Leung Chun-ying again claims he has proof of foreign influence on Occupy movement

Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying has claimed the government has evidence other than emails leaked in October to show foreign powers were behind the organisation of the Occupy Central movement for democracy.
It was the third time this week Leung had insisted on the authenticity of the alleged foreign interference, though he was tight-lipped about further details, only reiterating that the government would disclose the information "at an appropriate time".
He was also evasive under renewed grilling by pan-democrats and others about his acceptance of HK$50 million from Australian engineering firm UGL during the sale of a surveying business in 2012 and 2013.
Occupy's financial backing came into question when it emerged that legal scholar and Occupy co-founder Benny Tai Yiu-ting forwarded HK$1.45 million in donations to his employer, the University of Hong Kong, to cover expenses incurred by the civil disobedience movement last year. Leaked emails indicated the money came from at least one anonymous donor.
Yesterday, Leung said on an RTHK English-language programme that those emails were only part of the information the government held.
"It would be a good starting point," he said in reply to the radio host's question about whether he had additional evidence.
