Hong Kong fung shui masters warned of more political turbulence in the year of the goat, with one citing Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying’s birth chart as spelling trouble.

Fung shui master Yeung Tin-ming said a divination he made for Leung showed that he would lack the strength to govern efficiently.

“The divination shows that the people would be more powerful than the leader in the coming year, which implies Leung would fine it difficult to administer his people,” Yeung said.

Yeung added that the Hong Kong leader might need help from “a woman who can liaise with Beijing” to get through the potential storm.

The geomancer said this role could be filled by Chief Secretary Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor and Rita Fan Hsu Lai-tai, the territory’s sole representative to the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, China’s legislature.

“Leung might be ‘promoted’ to a more senior position to help the country’s development,” Yeung said.

However, another fung shui master, Choi Park-lai, who authored a Chinese almanac, said Leung could expect a prosperous year ahead.
