The beginning of the five-day Easter holidays has seen some star-studded happiness as two celebrity couples’ life-changing events came to light.
Canto-pop stars Sammi Cheng Sau-man and Andy Hui Chi-on finally got married after their 20-year on again-off again relationship, according to composer Clarence Hui Yuen, who posted the news on Weibo yesterday.
Clarence Hui posted a photo showing him, Cheng, 42, and Andy Hui, 47. Accompanying the photo is a message saying Cheng told him that “you can now call me Mrs Hui”.

“When I first saw you, you were both outstanding young singers,” Hui said.
“All these years I’ve seen you working very hard, breaking up and getting back together. You both shine in your own ways … I am genuinely happy for you and hope you hold each other’s hand and grow old together.”
The post did not reveal when or where the couple got married.
Meanwhile, Taiwanese singer Jay Chou announced on Facebook today that his wife Hannah Quinlivan is pregnant. The couple got married in January in a fairytale-style wedding at 900-year-old Selby Abbey in Britain.
Chou posted two side-by-side photos. The one on the left shows him, with a basketball stuffed underneath his black T-shirt, standing next to his wife Quinlivan. The other one shows the silhouette of Quinlivan, 21, standing on a beach under bright sunlight with her abdomen slightly protruding.
“See which of us is better in travelling with a ball,” Chou, 36, said jokingly in a message with the photo.
