Professor Rayson Huang Li-sung, a chemist and the first Chinese vice chancellor of the University of Hong Kong, has died in Britain aged 94.

Ex-HKU vice chancellor Rayson Huang dies

Professor Rayson Huang Li-sung, a chemist and the first Chinese vice chancellor of the University of Hong Kong, has died in Britain aged 94. Current vice chancellor Professor Peter Mathieson paid tribute to Huang's "great contributions to Hong Kong". Huang was at HKU from 1972 to 1986 and went to Britain in 1994.

Police seized some HK$1.6 million worth of drugs and arrested six men, aged 17 to 28, for trafficking in two related operations in the New Territories on Saturday. In one, they seized 2.4kg of ketamine worth HK$1 million and in another HK$630,000 worth of the drug was seized.
