Thousands of Lunar New Year revellers unnerved by Monday night’s events in Mong Kok packed onto the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront for the annual fireworks display last night.

The show was the first public event since the riot in Mong Kok on Monday night shook the city, and the display was flanked by a heavy police presence.
