1. ‘Happiness is an inside job.’
For American model Carmen Dell’Orefice, “it’s all in a day’s work”. At 91, she is one of the oldest living models still working, but she does not let that stop her. Indeed, she recently graced the cover of Vogue Czechoslovakia.
2. ‘She is unlucky that death chose her.’
A neighbour mourns the death of a 58-year-old woman who was found unconscious in the bathroom of a public hospital while waiting for emergency medical care. They both lived in Hong Kong’s A Kung Ngam village, where the deceased was known as “Hoi Yi” to her neighbours.

3. ‘They used 120 tonnes of water in 5 days.’
An Airbnb host was shocked to discover he had to pay more than US$1,570 in utility bills and other expenses after a Chinese couple left the taps, lights and gas on for 25 days. The couple wished to exact revenge on the host after he refused to cancel their booking.
