Four-month-old boy dies in hospital after being found unconscious in Hong Kong flat
Police had received a report from the baby’s mother and are investigating the cause of death
A four-month-old boy died in hospital after he was found unconscious in bed in an Ap Lei Chau flat in Hong Kong’s Southern district on Tuesday.
Emergency personnel were called to the South Horizons Drive flat shortly before 11.30am, following a police report by the baby’s mother, 39.
A police spokeswoman said the infant was sent to Queen Mary Hospital in Pok Fu Lam, where he was later certified dead.
Officers were investigating the cause of the incident.
