A woman filed for her missing cat on Thursday in rich neighbourhood on the Peak, claiming that the cat may have been stolen on Monday. Susanne Wagner, who moved to Hong Kong from Germany a year ago, filed a missing report for her cat Lumpi. Lumpi had been part of the family when they obtained the cat in Vienna, later moving to Germany and then to Hong Kong, said Wagner. Wagner is offering a HK$2,000 reward for anyone who could return the missing cat, who has a “special friendship” with the family’s collie, Hermes. “I was hoping that the special friendship could interest you into writing a story, and hopefully help us find him,” she said. Lumpi would go for daily walks with Hermes at the Peak, she said. Wagner said Lumpi usually leaves the home in favour of the gardens below their apartment block on Plunkett Road, but would always return home at night. When Lumpi didn’t return for a few nights, she decided to report to the police on Thursday. “I’ve been putting up flyers all over the neighbourhood as well,” said Wagner. Lumpi is a 10-year-old mixed-breed cat.
